I thought the same thing. It's kind of like the big wave guys or the finless guys- they have a particular interest that I simply don't share. I have no interest in strapping lots of camera gear on and trying to surf.
But: i just started shooting some moving image (made a helmetcam), and it is a great way actually to relive the session. Wich is nice when you don't get to surf much :D

hmmmm there is some truth in that.
