Friction-free...

An interesting concept.

Derek Hynd and others exploring finless wave sliding. If only they could've seen me on that old Harbour sliding in circles across microscopic summer swells. I could've been their guru. After all, I thought of it first and take myself extremely seriously.

Cool blog, it was a pleasure reading through it. As for the friction-free, over the summer Christensen and Bass paddled out on a couple wood planks that Tom Wegener sent over to Chris. It was pretty funny watching two good surfers struggle so much. Apparently those wood planks go pretty well in the right conditions

Great post. I love the shot of the fin-less boards with a Neumatic right in the middle.

Thanks- I happened upon the project through sways. It kind of resonates with me. I appreciate wave riding of many ilk. There is one shot of Rasta on one of the Wegener crafts in the preview for T. Campbell's new movie that shows there's fun to be had. Thanks for reading.

Hi mate. Glad you discovered the King Island adventure. Keep an eye out as we will be finished cutting the film by Christmas (we hope.)
Great blog by the way.
